With the litany of tech companies laying off thousands of employees over the past few months, it's no surprise that job stability and security ranked as the number one priority for tech workers.
According to a survey from Morning Consult, 68% of tech workers considered job stability “very important” when considering a new job. Salary, benefits, work-life balance, and alignment with personal interests rounded out the top five priorities.
Despite the WFH revolution that spawned from the pandemic, only 40% of tech workers stated that remote work was a priority.
